Food and Agriculture

Faced with a globalized food system, the alliance of territories and the mobilization of communities and all citizens are key conditions for the transition to a more sustainable food and agricultural model. But for this to happen, agriculture and food issues need to be radically rethought and transition strategies implemented. With this in mind, the Food and Agriculture Working Group met to make sustainable food a linchpin of territorial development by relying on the relocation of the food system.

Recommendations

Ensure supply to cities and territories in quantity and quality.

Make sustainable food a pivot for territorial development based on the relocalization of the food system.

Promote innovations serving the food transition and fight against negative externalities.

Promote national and international cooperation actions between local authorities of different scales.

Co-pilots
