Mobilities
Mobility plays a central role for the proper functioning of territories. At the same time, the climate emergency, traffic congestion, the extension of distances, the complexity of networks are the common lot of all cities in the world. Taking into account their specificities, they must invent solutions to allow everyone to move freely, comfortably and efficiently. It is with this in mind that the working group met and produced recommendations aimed at providing avenues of action to guarantee sustainable mobility.
Recommendations
Governance must be taken into account at all scales using a systems approach.
Make the link between urban planning and transport planning.
Promote the right to mobility as a fundamental issue of inclusion and social bond.
Insist on increasing the skills and cooperation of local authorities.
