2021-2022 Workshops

In 2021-2022, French actors are participating in 12 working groups in order to develop contributions and common positions in the perspective of the World Urban Forum 11 in Katowice. These different workshops are led by members and hosted by the PFVT.

Creative city

To fuel their reflections, the members of the “creative city” working group, led by the Cité de l’architecture et du patrimoine, started from a certainty: a creative city is only possible if it is born from a process itself creative, in which architecture plays the role of catalyst. They decided to give voice to those who live in and transform the city: urban artists, amateurs of the practice of urbex, semiologists, urban psychoanalysts, biologists, and the most innovative landscapers. The aim of this booklet is to create the contemporary story of the creative city, as a fact of culture and lived imagination, but also to understand what models and practices can support its development for 2050.
